PRODUCTIONS

We are pleased to announce our 2025/2026 season! This fall we will be offering Annie KIDS for our performers ages 6-10 years old and Beetlejuice JR. for our performers ages 10-16. Annie KIDS will take place as a Parents Night Out Style class on Friday Evenings from 5-8pm, and a Saturday morning class from 9-12pm. Each cast will have 2 performances. Our Beetlejuice JR. production will take place on M/W or T/TH with a couple of super Saturday rehearsals. We are also offering ANNIE (the full musical version) which will be a co-production with  Ballyhoo Theatre. Please scroll to view more information below.

FALL BEETLEJUICE JR. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Our fall production of Beetlejuice JR. will open up on July 1st at 8am for 10-16 year olds. Rehearsals will be from 5-8pm on M/W or T/Th with two super Saturday rehearsals. This will be a very tight rehearsal process. Performers must be 10 years old, or be a part of our ELITE program to register. Auditions will happen via video submission in August before rehearsals begin. The full rehearsal calendar can be found under our resources page or by clicking the link below. If space is still available after August 1st. 9 year olds will be invited to register from  the waiting list. Contact us to be put on the list.

FALL ANNIE KIDS REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Our fall production of Annie KIDS for ages 6-10 will open up at 8am on July 1st. We are planning on having a Friday night PNO class from 4:30-8pm  And  a Saturday morning class from 9-12pm We will be performing at Aspire Kinetic Arts in Northgate. Each cast will have two performances the weekend of November 14th-16th. The Friday night cast is full, but space is available in the Saturday morning cast! ANNIE CO-PRODUCTION WITH BALLYHOO THEATRE

We are thrilled to be co-producing Annie The Musical with Ballyhoo Theatre.

Welcome to a fun hybrid style production for youth-adult. The adults/teen ensemble cast in this production will receive a stipend for their work, and our youth ensemble/orphans will be paying a small fee for their educational experience if cast. The youth educational experience will also include a series of workshops in auditioning, vocal health, and team building in addition to rehearsals and 10 performances over two weekends.


ADULTS: $200 Stipend


TEEN ENSEMBLE: $50 Stipend


YOUTH ENSEMBLE/ORPHANS: $400 tuition


ANNIE DESCRIPTION: is a musical with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin, and a book by Thomas Meehan. It is based on the 1924 comic strip Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray (which in turn was inspired from the poem Little Orphant Annie by James Whitcomb Riley). The original Broadway production opened in 1977 and ran for nearly six years, setting a record for the Alvin Theatre (now the Neil Simon Theatre).It spawned numerous productions in many countries, as well as national tours, and won seven Tony Awards, including for Best Musical. The musical's songs "Tomorrow" and "It's the Hard Knock Life" are among its most popular musical numbers.


AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for experienced performers ages 7 through adult. Please include the audition availability form located below with your audition.

VIDEO AUDITIONS: Please submit a verse and chorus (roughly 32 bars) of a musical theatre song of your choice. And a 30 second-1 minute monologue (or joke if younger)


VIDEO DUE: By 11pm September 3rd (Please submit an unlisted YouTube video) to the show specific email address. bhspannie@gmail.com.

Callbacks will be September 13th & 15th in person at the Lake Forest Park Towne Center.

There will only be 1 cast, but we plan on double casting the role of Annie. (Designated on the form as Annie A and Annie B).
