Sandy(she/her) Sonko is the founding Artistic Director of Seattle’s Performers. Sandy has had a love of theatre since she was a small child, and has participated in several regional theatre productions. At age14, Sandy started her first theatre company Leap of Faith Theatreworks and provided musical theatre training to students for free during the summers. In 2000 Sandy was recognized for her volunteer service as the Prudential Sprit of Community Award recipient at the White House in Washington D.C. Sandy studied Music and Theatre at the University of the Ozarks and holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from North Idaho College and Child Development Psychology/Music from the University of Idaho. Sandy also studied in England, where she met her husband Marr, who hails from Gambia, West Africa. They have 3 children. Bailey 20, Sierra 17 and MarrSean 10 After years of teaching private voice, piano and vocal music in Seattle Public Schools, Sandy wanted to open a children’s musical theatre program. In 2010 Seattle’s Littlest Performers was established in and there has been no looking back. As the students at Seattle’s Littlest Performers grew, so did the company and Seattle’s Littlest Performers became Seattle’s Performers in 2013. Over the last 13 years SP has produced over 25 productions, and Sandy has been at the helm of them all. She also leads the SP ELITE program where the performers have won excellence in Acting in 2019 and 2020, Best Overall Performance in 2021 and Excellence in dance in 2022. In looking to the future of the program, Sandy’s goal is to keep providing as many opportunities as possible for performers.

Annie (she/her) is a teaching artist and performer. Annie studied various styles of dance throughout her youth until spinal surgery forced her out of the dance studio. Hoping for a way to continue dancing despite limited movement, Annie discovered the magical world of musical theatre and the rest was history! She began her professional career touring throughout Europe and Asia with The Young Americans, an international outreach program that brings music and dance to students of under-funded schools. Upon returning to the United States, Annie studied at the University of Washington, pioneering the new Musical Theatre Program and received her B.A. in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. Since graduation, Annie has taught dance and theatre classes throughout Seattle and the Eastside. She has taught for the UW’s Department of Dance and several local dance studios, as well as choreographed and directed productions for young actors. Annie’s performance credits include The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Mamma Mia!, Kiss Me, Kate, and Man of La Mancha, Village Theatre’s My Fair Lady, Seattle Opera’s The Magic Flute, Tzeitel in Aurora Theatre Company’s Fiddler on the Roof, Charity in UW Musical Theatre’s Sweet Charity, and countless appearances with the UW Dance program. Annie is also a certified member of the Youth Protection Advocates in Dance.

Carly relocated to Seattle where she studied Vocal Performance and Music Theory at Cornish College of the Arts. Carly is a member of Actors Equity and has performed with professional musical theatre houses across the PNW. Recent notable roles: Clara - The Light in The Piazza (Showtunes), Arista/Ariel U/S - The Little Mermaid (5th Avenue Theatre) Grace - Cinderella (Village Theatre). As a vocalist, she has performed with the Esoterics (Grammy award winning choir) for over 10 years, is a returning soloist with the Ranier Symphony, and leads and performs with the vintage harmony group Blush Fox Trio

She has worked in New York and Seattle as an actor/director/writer/filmmaker and educator, and currently works with a number of theatres and organizations in the area teaching

Fiona has also trained with Gecko Theatre and Chris Evans/Babel Theatre in London, England, doing physical theatre, contact improvisation and devising research.
They were most recently seen in Portland Playhouse's "The Wolves"(#11) and you can see them in D Theatre's upcoming production of "Men On Boats" (Seneca Howland/Just Jim) and Lit Immersive's Christmas Production "Mr.Kringle's Inventionasium"(covering multiple tracks). During their years in Portland and Southern California they worked with a number of professional theatres and assisted in script and character development for multiple pieces in festivals for new work as well as Cahoots Theatre Northern Ireland's collaboration with Segerstrom Center for the Arts. They also performed as a vocal artist in different jazz bars and city events and sang with the jazz ensemble, PDX Collective, on their Oregon and Idaho tour in 2018.
Throughout Fiona's summer as Theatre Director at Kingsley Pine's camp and years of instructing acting, voice/speech and movement at UC Irvine their love for teaching only grew. They are thrilled at the opportunity to give back to the community that raised them through Seattle Performers. Fiona's passion for performance stemmed from the youth theatre camps they attended growing up in the Northwest and they seek to encourage and raise up other young people in their formative years as well.

Madison was honored to portray the role of Belle in 70 performances of Beauty and the Beast at the Playmill Theatre in West Yellowstone. She also performed in the ensemble of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for 50 shows, and mentored teens at Playmill Summer Camp. Other notable roles include: Jerusha Abott in Daddy Long Legs, Laetitia in The Old Maid and the Thief, and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls.
Currently, Madison holds a successful career as a vocal coach. Her love for theatre and the joy she finds in mentoring others has shaped her into an effective and compassionate instructor. Eager to share her experience and knowledge, Madison looks forward to empowering aspiring artists at Seattle’s Performers.

Gianna Franzi (she/her) began her theatre and dance journey at four years old when she played Maleficent in her ballet studio’s production of Sleeping Beauty. This sparked her love of performing, and she spent her childhood learning various styles of dance. In high school, Gianna started studying and competing in Standard Ballroom dance, and she has trained with some of the most elite international coaches—including Luca Baricchi, Charlotte Jorgensen, and Shirley Ballas.
She has since pivoted from competitive dance to musical theatre. At Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Gianna has taught camps, acted in musicals, and choreographed productions. She relishes both being on stage and being behind the scenes directing and choreographing. Her passion for performance art and dance shine in all her endeavors, whether as an actress or as a teaching artist.
Gianna holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences: Dietetics from The University of Arizona, as wellness is of great interest and value to her. In her free time, Gianna also loves songwriting and composing original music. She is so excited to join the Seattle’s Performers team!
Caleb (he/him) is a Seattle native with 10 years of acting experience. He found his love for the arts at a very young age and was infatuated with acting in all its forms. He began acting classes at the age of 15 and has been performing in both theatre and film ever since. He has worked with youth ages ranging from 3-24 for the past 8 year
Caleb (he/him) is a Seattle native with 10 years of acting experience. He found his love for the arts at a very young age and was infatuated with acting in all its forms. He began acting classes at the age of 15 and has been performing in both theatre and film ever since. He has worked with youth ages ranging from 3-24 for the past 8 years either teaching preschool, nannying, tutoring, or in his most recent job as a case manager for homeless youth in the Everett area. His favorite theatre roles include Mischa Bachinski in Ride the Cyclone, Johnny in American Idiot, The Baker in Into the Woods, Kurt Kelly in Heathers, Caldwell B. Cladwell in Urinetown, Reverend John Hale in The Crucible, Fagin in Oliver!, and Sky in Mamma Mia!. Caleb also volunteers at Ballyhoo Theatre on the Youth Advisory Board and has been Stage Manager for Ruthless! Lights Operator for Fun Home, and assistant directed The Lightning Thief and Six: Teen Edition. Favorite roles in film include The Mesmerism: Inferno, Cardboard Swords, Worst Date Movie, the PBS television series Biz Kid$, and Manic Pixie Dreams, which is currently playing in film festivals around the world. He enjoys to share his love for acting and is so excited to join the Seattle Performers team!

She is so grateful for the opportunity to watch students grow as performers and help foster and share the joys of theatre. She most recently returned from Leavenworth this where she performed with Icicle Creek Center for the Arts in Into the Woods as Cinerella. She has also recently worked with Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre in Footloose and Pride and Prejudice as well as with Idaho Shakespeare Festival touring with their production of Air Heart. Adam (he/him) was born and raised in the Bay Area, where he found his passion for performing by participating in school productions and community theater. This passion led him to Los Angeles, where he attended UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, earning a B.A. in Theater with a minor in Music Industry. While at UCLA, Adam was a member of the internationally recognized a cappella group, UCLA ScatterTones, with whom he traveled to New York twice to perform on Broadway stages in the ICCAs (International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella). Since graduating, Adam has performed in professional theater productions in Los Angeles and appeared in several national commercials for major brands such as Verizon, Experian, and Grammarly. In addition to acting, Adam has collaborated with notable figures in the music and entertainment industries. Highlights include working with Lainie Kazan ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding"), singing backup for India Carney ("The Voice"), opening for Pentatonix with the UCLA ScatterTones, and recording demos for Randy Jackson ("American Idol") and Pat Benatar. Now based in Seattle, Adam is eager to contribute his talents to brands and creative projects seeking to showcase diverse voices. Offstage, he is a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) and a passionate advocate for mental health within the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
